WHO WE ARE
The Stockroom Society is an independent Community Interest Company created and run by local artist Rachel Groom and her co-founders that offers a vibrant and creative art space in the heart of Leatherhead’s Swan Centre.
With The Stockrooms’ expansion last year this has enabled us to showcase more art and host many more events and workshops led by our artists for the local community.
Our mission
We aim to enhance and engage the local community whilst providing steadfast support to artists to cultivate a dynamic space that fosters intergenerational connections.
We invite people of all ages and abilities to explore and contribute to the diverse world of art and crafts with the aim of making a positive impact.
what we offer
Our cornerstone lies in hosting a shop that champions up to 14 small businesses, providing a platform for local entrepreneurs to thrive.
Simultaneously, we aim to support local artists by showcasing their work and facilitating workshops creating an environment where creativity flourishes.
We as well offer a community wall space for budding artists to bring their work in and display.
OUR BELIEF
We are driven by the belief that art should be accessible to all, our ethos centers around maintaining affordability and, whenever possible, offering free experiences.
With a strong commitment to our community, we are always interested to hear about new ideas or ways we can collaborate with others to develop local projects and opportunities.

The Stockroom aspires to be a hub that nurtures talent and encourages community engagement, with a special focus on empowering and inspiring young adults and teenagers through art and music initiatives.
Our inspiration comes from seeing people come together from all walks of life and experiencing the same euphoria from their own creativity and imagination.
